Erik Jasaň
Director of Shorts Wrap

Erik Jasaň is a Slovak filmmaker whose debut short film The Professional Parent qualified for the Academy Awards and won the award for Best International Film at the New York Shorts International Film Festival. His work has been featured in the programs of several Oscar-qualifying festivals, including Balinale, Tirana, Odense, St Kilda, HollyShorts, Thomas Edison FF, Out On Film Atlanta, Alexandria, Huesca, Bengaluru, and Lebu.

Patrik Krivanek
International Ambassador

Patrik Krivanek is the International Ambassador of Shorts Wrap and a Czech director based in London and Prague. His work combines visual precision with authentic storytelling, often using analog film and the cinéma vérité style. Patrik studied directing at Westminster Film School in London. A member of BAFTA, BFI, RTS, and ISA, he is currently in the pre-production for his directorial debut, Muddy Shoes.

Natalia Malikova
Social Media Manager

Natália is a cinephile at heart and soul. She works as a Social Media Manager for both the Košice International Film Festival and the Prague Film Festival. She has served as a pre-selector for many Oscar-qualifying festivals. She has also been behind projects as a graphic designer for numerous books reflecting on mental health.

Igor Engler

Artistic Director for Short Fiction and Documentary Films

Igor completed a Master's degree in Producing at NFTS. His work includes the feature film Promise, I'll Be Fine (2024), directed by Katarína Gramatová, which premiered in the main competition at the Tokyo International Film Festival and won Best Debut Film at the Cottbus Film Festival. Engler also produced the independent feature The Peril at Pincer Point, which premiered at SXSW and received the NEON Auteur Award.

Hynek Spurný

Artistic Director for Short Animated Films

Hynek Spurný is a film producer and FAMU graduate in film production. He runs Altum Frames, focusing on fiction and animated films, and collaborates with authors with a strong creative vision. He regularly participates in international industry forums. His short animated film World I Live In is entering distribution, and he is currently developing two feature projects: the documentary Master Frank and the coming-of-age comedy Blafák.
