FESTIVAL

Shorts Wrap organises a film festival focused on supporting short film creators, combining screenings, educational activities, and a curated selection of works. The festival will take place from 11 to 13 December 2026 in Košice, specifically at the iconic Kino Úsmev.

The festival programme is dedicated to short films and includes an international competition, an official selection, and special screenings. The main award of the festival is the Golden Fountain Award, inspired by the well-known Singing Fountain in Košice. This award is presented within the international competition and is accompanied by a financial prize of €1,000. Each film included in the official selection also receives a screening fee of €50.

In addition to the festival itself, Shorts Wrap organises accompanying activities throughout the year, including masterclasses and mentoring programmes. The platform also provides updates on key festival deadlines and follows developments in the short film industry, including major awards such as the Academy Awards and the BAFTA Awards.
